I’m still wondering when a 3.0 version should be made. We’ve been talking about a 3.0 since 2.9 or so…

Usually these nightly creations look much worse the day after, but somehow I’m actually quite pleased with this one. So this may perhaps end up as a release one day. Lots of work to do though, so don’t get too excited yet…

By the way, as always I’m looking for a good name. For now it goes by the name of “Code Gothic”, since every font that I make in these experiments gets one that starts with “Code”, which is short for “code name”. The “Gothic” part is just a smart name for sans-serif… All ideas for names are welcome!

After neglecting it for a year, I’ve finally done a tiny bit of work on Euterpe again. It’s mainly to fix the degree slash which was seen by me as a combining glyph when I made version 1.0. It also adds the multiple rest symbol which was added in Unicode 5.1 to its proper spot in the musical symbols block. There are a few minor fixes for wrong outline directions as well.

The font can be downloaded at the Open Font Library.
